Lanzado originalmente como edición limitada en caja de cuatro Cd’s en 2009, Factory Communications: 1978-92 es un tributo a uno de los sellos más importantes de la historia de la música moderna, así como a su fundador Tony Wilson. Este proyecto incluye una buena selección de temas inéditos u oscuros (63 en total) incluidos en ocho vinilos de bandas como New Order, Joy Division, The Durutti Column, Happy Mondays, Electronic, A Certain Ratio, Section 25, etc, así como un libreto con textos a cargo de Paul Morley.
